Spoken by approximately 375 million people around the world it is largely accepted as being the third largest language of native speakers; after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. A working knowledge of English will greatly improve all areas of your life. Considering the extremely high numbers of speakers it’s clear that an ability to converse in English is essential for communication in today’s world; in both a social and professional sense. Ireland is a country that now enjoys a diverse multi-cultural society; and while it’s important for each race to retain a sense of individuality it is also vital for a common means of communication so that integration can exist. Learning English will help rather than hinder this process as it will ensure that growing numbers of people can interact with each other.

Business, science, entertainment, politics; the list of international sectors that have proposed English as their common language is as long as the world is wide. Adding a fluency in English to your list of talents will be of great advantage to you in the future so read through the section for all the tips and advice to get you on your way…
