Yes, your HETAC Level 8 degree should be acceptable for entry to the postgraduate conversion course for Primary Education in the colleges you mentioned provided you also meet the other entry requirements. You have the C3 in higher Irish. Do you also have a minimum of C3 in ordinary English and D3 in Ordinary Maths? However, you could also consider doing it online with Hibernia College over two years. Getting into the Diploma in Career Guidance in any of the colleges that offer it, would probably be fairly difficult without teaching experience but if you go to www.igc.ie you can read all about the various routes into Guidance Counselling.
