I have a Corporate Law degree and am currently sitting the FE-1s but have finally realised or rather admitted to myself that law is not the road for me. Also, it's pretty obvious that the law world is pretty saturated with overly ambitious and naive graduates already. I chose law because i thought it would be challenging, I would be helping people, there is continuous learning, the remuneration, the title, I would meet different people and finally I would make a difference...naive anyone?!
I have taken a year out from law and somewhere along the way have realised that I would love, and would be equally good at teaching, preferably adults. This is, however, where my new wave of insight and perhaps courage ends as i have done nothing about it except wallow in the belief that I'm stuck and should continue on with law beacuse I have already spent 4 years at it and it would be a waste to just leave it all by the landfill.
If anyone could help me out with the next step I should take in trying to find a course that would put me on the right track I would be appreciative. I have a good base in that I got a high Leaving Cert result . I would be willing to go back to college full time if absolutley necessary although I have a stable full time job at the moment and it seems pretty silly to give that up in times like these.
Any advise is welcome.
Thanks!
