From Graphic Designer to HR Candidate?

Postby scullivor » Mon Nov 02, 2009 11:29 pm

Sorry to bother you all but wonering if anyone can help me.

I used to be a graphic designer and gained my Degree in Interactive design in 2005 from DLIADT. Previously I did my ordinary degree(diploma t the time) with AIT in Communcations (Design). I have since got a Dip in Advertising (Creative) with IAPI from DIT, a Certificate in Personnel Practice (CIPD) with DIT, a Diploma in Human Resource Management(CMI) from GCD, and I now am doing the Diploma in Employment Law with DBS.

I want to get into HR, but all the jobs I see are grauate jobs and any jobs I have applied for ask for a degree in HR at best.
Is there a way in without having to go back to doing a degree or mbs or masters right now?
Or is there shorter versions of the fulltime courses I can do to add to my extensive list of courses to try help me get into HR. I am a hardworker and currently work 7 days a week in two jobs and attend college 1 night a week.

Maybe even getting a work experience placement 1 hour a week or for my two weeks holidays might help.

Any advice is appreciated.
